About Jamila

I help leaders make clearer decisions about income, value, and growth—especially when the pressure is on.

Most organisations don’t fail because they lack ideas, funding, or talent.
They struggle because they’re making decisions without clarity—about what they already have, what really matters, and what to prioritise next.

My work sits at the intersection of income, leadership, and ethics, helping organisations unlock hidden assets and lead well in an increasingly complex, AI-shaped world.

Why I do this work

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside leaders, founders, and teams navigating growth, constraint, and change. Again and again, I saw the same pattern:

The answers were already in the room—but buried under habit, pressure, or outdated assumptions about money and value.

That insight shaped how I work today.
I don’t arrive with off-the-shelf solutions or one-size-fits-all frameworks. I help leaders see more clearly, think more expansively, and make better decisions—so income becomes more sustainable, leadership more human, and strategy more grounded in reality.

What audiences and organisations say they value most

People who work with me often describe my sessions as:
Challenging without being confrontational
– Thought-provoking without being abstract
– Clear, grounded, and practical

Whether I’m delivering a keynote, facilitating a workshop, or advising senior leaders, my aim is always the same:
to leave people with fewer assumptions, better questions, and clearer next steps.

My background

I bring nearly 10 years years of experience in income generation, fundraising strategy, and leadership development, working across charities, businesses, and purpose-led organisations.

I’ve spoken at conferences and events including the Federation of Small Businesses, Charity Comms, and the Scottish Fundraising Conference, and regularly work with founders and leadership teams navigating growth and complexity.

I’m also the founder of Female Founders Table — a curated space bringing together women founders and leaders for honest conversations about visibility, income, leadership, and decision-making. The Table reflects my belief that clarity, confidence, and connection are not “soft” assets, but strategic ones.

Alongside this, I founded Get That Money — a body of work exploring how organisations think differently about income, power, and value without burnout or gimmicks.

That philosophy underpins every keynote, workshop, and advisory engagement I take on.
I’m not interested in preaching, hype, or surface-level inspiration.
I’m interested in work that respects the intelligence in the room—and helps leaders use it well.

How I approach speaking and leadership work

I believe good leadership work should do three things:
Create clarity, not overwhelm
Invite reflection, not defensiveness
Support human judgement, even in a world shaped by AI

If you’re considering working together

You’re likely in the right place if you’re:
Organising a conference or leadership event and want a speaker who changes how people think, not just how they feel
Leading an organisation or business navigating growth, complexity, or income decisions
Looking for a calm, credible voice on leadership and AI that doesn’t rely on fear or shortcuts
If that sounds like you, I’d love to explore how we might work together.
